Aaric Jacobson serves on the Financial Designs team, where he specializes in financial strategy for both the firm and its corporate clients. His work focuses on the firm's internal financial operations as well as supporting corporate clients with strategic planning, including executive benefit programs, business succession strategies, and other advanced planning solutions.
Before joining Financial Designs, Aaric spent nearly four years in the construction industry, most recently serving as Controller for a residential home builder in Bedford, Virginia. There, he developed and implemented financial systems that helped the company double its sales while maintaining strong profit margins and improving operational efficiency. That experience fueled his passion for helping small and mid-sized businesses gain greater clarity around their finances and make the most of their success.
Aaric enjoys the fast-paced nature of his work, but what motivates him most is helping individuals and business owners steward their resources wisely so they can achieve their goals and create a lasting impact. He believes the best client relationships begin with listening and understanding each client's unique circumstances before developing thoughtful, practical solutions together.
He recently earned his Virginia Life and Health Insurance license and is currently pursuing his Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation, with plans to continue earning additional professional credentials in the years ahead.
Originally from just outside Orlando, Florida, Aaric now calls Lynchburg home. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife, Marissa, their newborn daughter, Cassia, and his large family, including three of his five brothers who also live in the Lynchburg area.
